Dear Friends, Supporters,Students and Alumni of ICBM,
It is with great sadness that we announce to you the resignation of our principal, Dr. Arthur Alard and his wife Dr. Olga Alard. They have been with the college over 10 years, having started in 2016. They have faithfully served the College over this period and have sacrificed much to keep the College going over recent years. Dr. Alard, as principal has led and guided ICBM with the many changes and financial challenges.
Unfortunately, Dr Alard experienced terrible burnout at the beginning of the year and as a result, has been advised by his Mission, BMW International and pastoral council to take a 6-month sabbatical as a part of the recovery process. They will be relocating to CapeTown area and seeking Gods guidance for future ministry.
Dr Stephen Briix, as theAcademic Dean, has been nominated by the ICBM Board to take over the leadership as acting principal, at this time. Dr Briix has much experience in the functioning and programs of ICBM.
Please pray for the Alard’s and their son, Pasha as they make this move to Cape Town, that the Lord will strengthen, guide and bless them over these next months of recovery and in their future ministry.
Please also pray for Dr Briix and the Senior Management at ICBM, as they have to make big adjustments and take on various new roles and responsibilities to keep the college functioning as it should do.
Please pray for the College that God might guide and provide and use it in a wonderful way to thoroughlyand Biblically equip men and women for the ministries, where He will place them and all for His Glory.
