Patrick Nanthambwe

Mr Patrick Nanthambwe was born and raised in Blantyre, Malawi. He served as an assistant pastor at Blantyre Community Church from 2013-2015. He did his theological training at the Evangelical Bible College of Malawi (EBCoM) from 2010 and graduated in 2013 with a Diploma in Theology from the University of Malawi. He continued his studies at the Baptist Theological College (BTC) in Randburg, Republic of South Africa and graduated with a Bachelors Honours in Theology in 2015. He obtained his Masters of Theology (MTh) degree (Pastoral Studies) from North West University (NWU) Potchefstroom, South Africa in 2020. The title for his MTh thesis is “The public dimension of Practical Theology: The Contribution of the Zambezi Evangelical Church in addressing poverty in Malawi.” He is currently a PhD candidate at North West University, Vanderbijlpark. Patrick is married to Rodalle and they fellowship at Pulse Church Johannesburg where they serve as leaders. Patrick has served as an intern at Bryanston Bible Church as a Gospel Community coordinator in 2016 and in 2017 he served as a pastoral assistant at True North Church in Midrand. He started teaching as a lecturer at International College of Bible and Missions (ICBM) in Roodepoort from September 2016 as an adjunct faculty member. In 2018, he joined ICBM as a full-time faculty member. Since August 2020 Patrick has served as Dean of Students at ICBM.
